StellaLife’s VEGA Oral Care Gel relieves pain and significantly accelerates canker sore healing time to 2-3 days instead of 10-14 days. Dr. Froum, Editorial Director of Perio-Implant Advisory, published a study titled "Canker sores: An old enemy facing new treatment."
His conclusion: "For aphthous ulcer treatment, StellaLife offers a gel that is applied to the ulcer area with a clean cotton swab five to seven times a day. This application can decrease pain intensity and reduce ulcer duration from 10 to 14 days down to just two to three days after onset."

Dental Professional: "17 yr old patient with history of chronic multiple aphthous ulcers. Had him swish with VEGA rinse 3 times daily and use the gel directly on the ulcers. Saw him about 3 weeks later and he said he had not had any ulcers for 2 weeks. That's the longest period time in years without an ulcer! He has been using it now around 2-3 months. He is very pleased with StellaLife." - - Dr. Jack Morrow, TX: Learn more
Canker Sores often develop as small white or yellow center lesions with a red border. They develop in the mouth on the tongue, inside cheek areas, lips, gum line and throat area. They are not contagious. Canker sores may occur as one sore or several. The exact cause is unknown, but trauma or injury to the mouth or oral soft tissues may be the culprit. Other possible causes are food sensitivities, spicy, salty or acidic foods, vitamin B deficiency, hormonal shifts and stress.
There are three major categories of aphthous ulcers (canker sores) found in the mouth:
- 80% of canker sores are minor aphthous ulcers. These appear as round white lesions 2 mm to 8 mm in size, surrounded by a thin red halo usually occurring with a duration time of 10 to 14 days.
- 10% to 15% of canker sores are major aphthous ulcers, usually larger than 10 mm in diameter. These lesions can last two to eight weeks.
- 5% to 10% of canker sores are herpetiform aphthous ulcers, which are multiple ulcerations 2 mm to 3 mm in size that, when close enough to each other, can come together into one large ulcer. These types of canker sores last 10 to 14 days, and can be very painful.
