Title: What Should We Be Doing For Our Patients With Cancer?
Dr. Jessica Pharar, who attended the University of California, Irvine, for her undergraduate study, where she researched oral cancer and dental lasers that helped develop current dental practices. As a UNLV School of Dental Medicine graduate, she chose to pursue post-doctoral training programs following dental school, completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program from Texas A&M, Baylor College of Dentistry. The program trained her in some of the most advanced dental treatments to treat various patient ailments expertly. Her time with the Sammons Cancer Center taught her how to approach treatment for cancer patients and a profound respect for those facing the disease. She currently owns and practices at Drs. Chin & Pharar Dentistry. She manages and provides the dental treatment for the Pharar Foundation, and also, educates other medical professionals about the necessity for optimal dental health during cancer treatments.
