Dr. Jason E. Portnof is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, American College of Dentists, and International College of Dentists. His interests include orthognathic surgery, maxillofacial reconstructive surgery, pathology, and complex dental implantology.
Dr. Portnof graduated dental school with honors from Nova Southeastern University and earned an MD from Weill Cornell Medical College. He received fellowship training in pediatric maxillofacial surgery/craniomaxillofacial surgery at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.
He serves on the Board of Directors of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and is a board examiner for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is the Past President of the Florida Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association and President of the Florida Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
